Accessing your account while travelling
You can generally log into your account while travelling outside of Canada, but your ability to use the platform will be restricted. While your account stays active, provincial and international laws change the way you can interact with the site.
What you can do
While abroad, you are typically permitted to perform administrative and financial tasks, such as:
- Checking your CAD balance.
- Initiating a withdrawal of your winnings.
- Viewing your transaction and betting history.
- Depositing funds into your account.
What is restricted
Because of strict “ring-fencing” laws and licensing requirements, you are legally prohibited from placing any real-money wagers (sports bets or casino games) once you leave your regulated province.
Our geolocation software will detect that you are outside of the eligible borders and will automatically block any attempt to place a bet. You will not be able to wager again until you are physically back within a supported Canadian province.
Account security while abroad
If you plan to access your account from a different country, keep these safety tips in mind:
- Avoid Public Wi-Fi: Use a secure, private connection or a roaming data plan to protect your banking and Interac details.
- Use 2FA: Ensure Two-Factor Authentication is active. Logging in from a new international IP address often triggers additional security checks to verify it is actually you.
