Craps Hub Canada: Rules, Bets, Online Controls & Strategy
Craps has more moving parts than any other game in this section, so instead of one long page, it’s broken into focused guides. Start with the complete betting guide if you’re new to the table – it covers the layout, the two phases of a round and Canadian-specific terms in one pass. Everything below goes deeper on one specific piece of it.
How a Round Works
Every craps round runs through two phases, and a disc called the Puck tells you which one you’re in: the Comeout Roll, where the shooter tries to set a Point, and the Intermediate Roll, where the table wants that number to land again before a 7. Get this part down first – it decides which bets are even active at any given moment.
Line Bets: Pass, Don’t Pass and Come
The Pass Line is the classic bet, riding with the shooter – and the only gateway to Odds, the single 0% house-edge bet anywhere in the casino. Don’t Pass is its exact mirror, played against the table. Come and Don’t Come are the “portable” versions of both, letting you open a fresh Point of your own once the round is already moving.

Place and Buy Bets
Once a Point is set, these let you bet on any box number directly, without waiting for the Pass Line to get there. Place Bets are the quickest money on the table; buying the 4 and 10 trades a 5% commission for true odds; and pressing a hot number rolls your winnings back onto the felt instead of pocketing them.

Field, Proposition and Hardways
The one-roll and center-table bets – bigger payouts, worse math. The Field settles on a single roll across a wide band of numbers, while Proposition bets and Hardways sit in the middle of the layout carrying the highest house edge in the game. Worth understanding even if you rarely play them.
Playing Online: Interface and Controls
Craps online strips away the dealer lingo and the fast-moving crowd, but the screen has a language of its own. This covers what every button, lammer and on-screen panel actually does – so a misclick never costs you real money.
At a Live Table
Playing in person in Niagara, Montreal or Vancouver comes with its own etiquette and a couple of bets you won’t find in the online interface.
Where to Play Craps Online
Not every online casino carries craps, and live tables are rarer still – it’s an uncommon game in the digital space. These are the operators we’ve reviewed where the craps table is actually worth your time:
