What to do if you suspect suspicious activity
If you notice something’s not quite right—perhaps a bet you don’t remember placing or a login notification from a location you haven’t visited—it’s vital to act straight away. Your account security is a top priority, and taking these quick steps can help protect your funds and personal details.
Change your password immediately
Your first move should be to update your login credentials. Head to your account settings and change your password to something entirely unique that you haven’t used on any other sites. If you cannot log in because your details have already been altered, proceed immediately to contacting support.
Alert the Live Chat team
Jump onto Live Chat and inform an agent that you suspect your account has been compromised. Our security team can place an immediate “freeze” on your account. This stops any further wagering and, more importantly, prevents anyone from attempting to withdraw your balance while an investigation is carried out.
Review your betting and transaction history
Once the account is secure, take a thorough look at your recent activity. Check the Betting History for any unfamiliar wagers and the Transaction History for any unrecognised deposits or pending withdrawals. If you spot anything suspicious, make a note of the transaction IDs or timestamps to share with the support team.
Secure your personal email
Often, a breach on a betting site is a sign that your registered email account might also be at risk. It is essential to change your email password and check your “Sent” and “Deleted” folders for suspicious activity. If someone has access to your email, they could potentially reset your betting password again.
Bolster your security with 2FA
If you have not done so yet, now is the perfect time to enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA). Using an app like Google Authenticator ensures that even if someone manages to guess your password in the future, they will not be able to get past the front door without a unique code from your mobile phone.
