To protect your funds and personal data, we strongly recommend enabling Two-Factor Authentication (2FA). This adds a vital layer of security by requiring a unique code from your mobile device every time you log in, making it much harder for unauthorised users to access your balance.

Locate the security settings

Log in to your account and navigate to the “My Account” menu. Look for a section labelled “Security Settings” or “Account Privacy.” Within this menu, you will find the option to enable Two-Factor Authentication.

Set up an authenticator app

We recommend using a dedicated app like Google Authenticator or Authy (available on the App Store and Google Play).

  • Select “Authenticator App” as your preferred 2FA method on the site.
  • A QR code will appear on your screen.
  • Open the authenticator app on your phone, tap the “+” icon, and select “Scan a QR code.”
  • Once scanned, your betting account will appear in the app with a 6-digit code that changes every 30 seconds.

Verify and activate

To complete the setup, enter the 6-digit code currently displayed in your app into the verification box on the website and click “Enable.” Your account is now protected. From now on, you will be prompted for a new code whenever you log in from a new device or browser.

Save your recovery codes

Upon activation, you will be provided with Recovery Codes. It is vital that you write these down or save them in a secure, offline place. If you ever lose your phone or accidentally delete the app, these codes are the only way to access your account without undergoing a manual verification process with Customer Support.

❓ Frequently Asked Questions

Do I have to enter a 2FA code every time I log in?

Usually, no. Most UK sites allow you to select “Trust this device” when you enter your code. This means you won’t be asked for a code on that specific laptop or phone for 30 days, though you will still need it if you log in from a different location.

Is an authenticator app better than SMS codes?

Yes. Authenticator apps are considered more secure because they don’t rely on the mobile network, which can be vulnerable to “SIM swapping” attacks. They also work offline, which is useful if you have a poor signal.

What happens if I lose my recovery codes?

If you lose both your phone and your recovery codes, you will need to contact Customer Support. You will have to go through a strict identity verification process, which may include providing a photo of yourself holding your ID, to prove you are the rightful owner.
