My top 2026–27 NHL futures bets: breaking down prime value across division winners, team points lines, and player honours for this season.
Published:I’m Lucas Portela, a passionate NHL fan and bettor from Brazil who follows every corner of the league closely. With the 2026–27 campaign here, I’ve broken down the board to find prime betting value. From division favourites and points lines to major honours, here are my top long-term futures bets for this NHL season.
Atlantic Division Winner
In the Atlantic Division, the Florida Panthers to finish on top (+150) offer strong value. After winning back-to-back Stanley Cups in 2024 and 2025, injuries derailed their 2026 campaign and kept them out of the playoffs. With their core healthy again, they have the depth to take back the division.
Metropolitan Division Winner
Over in the Metropolitan, the Carolina Hurricanes to win the division (+110) stand out. Rod Brind’Amour’s group is coming off a 16-3 postseason run, and their puck-possession style consistently produces strong regular seasons, especially while several division rivals work through roster turnover.

Expert Verdict:
Top-tier NHL coverage with industry-leading lines. A world-class betting interface that delivers premium speed and unparalleled market depth.
Presidents’ Trophy
For the Presidents’ Trophy, the Colorado Avalanche to win (+550) are tied with Carolina as co-favorites. Colorado took home the trophy last season with 121 points behind the league’s top-scoring offense, and with Nathan MacKinnon and Cale Makar leading the way, they have the firepower to handle the longer schedule and repeat as the regular-season points leader.
Team Point Totals
On the team point totals board, the Chicago Blackhawks Over 79.5 points (-110) is well positioned. Chicago upgraded its defense over the summer, and natural steps forward from their young core along with a better power play make an 80-point season realistic over 84 games.
Player Goal Totals
In the player markets, Nathan MacKinnon Over 44.5 goals (-110) is the highest line on the board. As the reigning Rocket Richard winner and the focal point of Colorado’s top power-play unit, his heavy shot volume gives the over strong appeal.
Hart Memorial Trophy
For the Hart Memorial Trophy, Macklin Celebrini to win MVP (+450) is listed right behind Connor McDavid (+300) and MacKinnon (+350). Celebrini drives the Sharks’ offense, and if he can push San Jose near a playoff spot, his case for MVP will be hard to ignore.
Calder Memorial Trophy
Finally, the Calder Trophy race has Gavin McKenna to win Rookie of the Year (+280), just behind Porter Martone (+270). McKenna steps straight into a top-six role and the primary power play for Toronto, giving him the ice time and usage needed to put up big rookie numbers.
