Bet rejected or odds changed: why it happens
Bets are rejected or repriced when odds or lines move before you confirm, a market is suspended, your stake is above a limit, your balance is short, or a location or account check fails. Review the slip, accept the new price if you still want it and retry.
A bet rejected message or a price change on your slip usually means the market moved or a rule blocked the wager, not that your account has a problem. The reason is normally shown on the slip itself.
Why you see a bet rejected message
- Odds moved: prices change between adding a pick and confirming, especially on live markets.
- Market suspended: live markets pause around key moments in a game.
- Stake limit: your stake is above the maximum for that market.
- Low balance: your funds do not cover the stake.
Checks can also stop a bet. A failed location check blocks wagers, an account with restrictions may have lower limits, and some markets are not offered in your state at all, which is why the same bet can be available to a friend in another state.
What to do next
Read the message on the slip, which usually states the reason, and accept the new odds only if you still want the bet. If you hit a limit, lower the stake, and if the market is suspended, retry after it reopens. Avoid repeated taps, and check your open bets before you try again so that you do not end up with two of the same wager. If money left your balance but the bet is not in your history, look in the Open, Settled and Cancelled tabs, then contact support with screenshots.
Live bets and the price you get
Operators often add a short delay on live bets to confirm that the price is still valid, and a longer delay can mean the market is repricing. You get the odds at the moment the operator accepts the bet, unless the app asks you to confirm a change, so check the price on the slip before you confirm.
