My Sports Betting Results
Transparency is the only way to do this right. This page holds the complete track record for every bet I place and share. While the main focus here is on the NHL, you will also find my picks for other major sports throughout the year.
I built this tracker to show you the real numbers behind my picks. If a bet hits, it goes on the board. If it misses, it stays right there too. Showing the true balance is the only way to build trust. The tracker below updates as I grade the slips. Check out all my bets under Daily Predictions.
How to read my betting numbers
Checking this tracker on your screen is quick and easy. If you are new to following sports picks, here is a quick breakdown of the terms I use:
Units (u)
I don’t talk in CAD or dollar amounts. I track everything using units. A unit is just a small, fixed percentage of your total betting bankroll. Doing it this way makes the tracker relatable to your own setup, whether you bet five bucks or five hundred a game. The final balance shows the total units won or lost.
Stake
This measures my confidence level on a specific play, using a simple 1 to 3 scale. A 1-unit stake is a lighter, cautious play. A 3-unit stake means I see a significant edge and feel confident risking more. It shows exactly how I weigh my own picks.
Strike rate
This is just the win percentage. It shows how many bets won out of all the graded plays. I calculate this by the number of bets, not the units risked. It is a raw, honest number that cannot be manipulated.
ROI
Return on Investment is the most crucial stat for the long haul, especially through a grueling NHL season. It shows whether the bankroll is actually growing or taking a hit. ROI factors in the stakes and gives you the clearest picture of the actual profit or loss.
How I log my picks
The routine never changes. I post the play on the Picks page well before puck drop or game time. After the game goes final, I log the outcome, and the numbers adjust. Just a heads up: this is not automated in real-time. It takes a bit of time for me to manually update the board after the night’s action is over.
There is no hiding from a bad night on the ice. Losing bets are permanently locked into the record. Taking accountability for the losing streaks is what makes this a real, trustworthy betting history, rather than just a highlight reel.
