Best Premier League 2026/27 season bets, from title outrights and top six finishes to Golden Boot value and relegation candidates.

Published:

The 2026/27 Premier League campaign is here, and I have picked out the best value outright bets across the market. From title contenders and European spots to the drop zone and top goalscorer, here is a complete breakdown of my favourite ante-post punts to back this season.

Golden Boot: Joao Pedro (14/1 EW) & Cole Palmer (33/1 EW)

Erling Haaland is short at 4/6, but real value sits with Chelsea’s key attackers. Joao Pedro at 14/1 each-way stands out after bagging fifteen league goals last season. A summer off from international duty left him completely fresh to lead the line in Xabi Alonso’s high-tempo system. Alongside him, Cole Palmer looks massive at 33/1 each-way. Palmer hit twenty-two goals in his first Chelsea campaign and keeps penalty duties. Operating right behind the striker in a fluid front three, he gets constant shooting chances. With zero European travel tiring the squad, both forwards will get ample minutes and clean looks to top the scoring charts.

Relegation: Fulham (5/1)

Fulham look far too short on experience at 5/1 to stay up this year. Marco Silva was the glue keeping the side competitive, and his exit to Benfica leaves a massive void. Alvaro Arbeloa arrives as a total rookie at this level, with just a brief interim spell at Real Madrid on his CV. The squad has also lost vital spine players, including Harry Wilson, Sasa Lukic, Issa Diop, and Raul Jimenez. Replacing proven Premier League talent with unproven academy prospects from Spain is a major gamble. If Arbeloa struggles to adapt to the pace of the division early on, Fulham could easily slide into the bottom three.

To Finish Bottom: Hull City (8/11)

Hull City at 8/11 look destined for twentieth place. The Tigers overperformed wildly to win the Championship play-offs, beating their expected points tally by twenty-one. Digging into the underlying numbers reveals major defensive issues: they shipped sixty-six goals and posted an expected-goals-against of 80.1. Stepping up to face elite attackers with that backline will be brutal. Summer recruitment has been quiet, failing to add proven top-flight quality where it matters most. Facing Manchester United, Aston Villa, and Chelsea in their first four matches could shatter their confidence immediately. Everything points to Hull being completely outmatched over thirty-eight games and finishing dead last.

Top Six Finish: Nottingham Forest (13/2)

Nottingham Forest are a standout bet at 13/2 to break into the top six. The arrival of Oliver Glasner changes everything. The Austrian manager is a proven winner, having lifted major trophies with Frankfurt and Crystal Palace while setting club points records. Forest already had plenty of raw talent, but constant managerial turnover held them back. Glasner brings structure, high-pressing intensity, and clear roles. The club also spent the £115m fee from Elliot Anderson wisely, building genuine depth across the pitch. Without midweek European matches clogging their schedule, Forest can field their strongest lineup every weekend and disrupt the usual heavyweights.

Top Promoted Team: Coventry City (6/4)

Coventry City are the most reliable pick at 6/4 to finish above their fellow promoted sides. The Sky Blues beat Ipswich by eleven points and Hull by twenty-two in the Championship last term. Frank Lampard has built a cohesive starting eleven with a settled tactical identity. In contrast, Ipswich look shaky after losing Kieran McKenna, with Gary O’Neil stepping in after two straight sackings elsewhere. Ipswich’s transfer moves, like bringing in Daizen Maeda, do not inspire huge confidence either. Hull look well out of their depth. Coventry have far better chemistry and defensive balance, making them the clear front-runner in this three-way market.

Christmas Leader: Nottingham Forest (150/1 EW)

For a fun long-shot, Nottingham Forest each-way at 150/1 to lead the table on Christmas Day is worth a small stake. Fast starts from surprise teams happen regularly. Aston Villa sat third at Christmas in back-to-back years, and Forest were fourth at the festive period in 2024. Oliver Glasner’s intense pressing style often yields fast results early in campaigns. Forest reinvested £115m into solid squad depth and have zero European travel to drain their legs. While traditional giants rotate heavily to manage tough Champions League schedules and new managers, a fresh, fully focused Forest side can string early wins together and cause a real shock.

Most Assists: Morgan Rogers (25/1 EW) & 10+ Assists (6/1)

Morgan Rogers at 25/1 each-way offers serious appeal to top the assist charts, while backing him for 10+ assists at 6/1 looks equally strong. Bruno Fernandes topped the league last term, but matching that total will be tough with United facing heavy European fixtures. Rogers moved to Chelsea for £117m after bagging eleven assists across all competitions for Villa. He is a durable athlete who rarely misses minutes. Under Xabi Alonso, Rogers will constantly drive into half-spaces to feed clinical finishers. With Chelsea completely free of European travel, Rogers will start regularly and has every chance of hitting double figures.
