Brighton have been flying in the league, especially after putting five past Palace. But dragging themselves back from Czechia after a dull 0-0 on Thursday night is a nightmare when you've got to turn right around and head to Anfield. Liverpool had that chaotic 4-3 win over Villarreal, but they played Tuesday and got two extra days of proper rest. Their backline still looks shaky, sure, but playing at home with fresh legs should get them over the line here.
Crystal PalacevsNewcastle United
Crystal Palace look dead on their feet after this week. Getting battered 5-0 by Brighton was humiliating, and then they had to fly all the way to Istanbul for a bruising battle on Thursday night. Most of the starters played, so their legs must be completely gone ahead of Newcastle turning up. Newcastle haven't looked great either, but they've had seven full days of rest to get things sorted. Palace are leaky and exhausted, so I fancy the fresher away side to grind out the win.
