Who’s behind Bold Gambler
Bold Gambler’s editorial direction is led by Lucas Portela, who has worked inside the iGaming industry for close to two decades, not just written about it from the outside.
His path started at the poker table in 2010, where he learned bankroll management and analytical reading of probability under real pressure. In 2012, he moved into sports betting, eventually working professionally as an Oddsmaker rather than staying a hobbyist.

Unlike most people producing betting content, Lucas has worked inside the pricing side of the industry, not just the punter side:
