Oddsmakers are already scrambling to adjust their numbers for the big game, set for Valentine’s Day 2027 at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood. Between early blowouts, shaky contenders, and flat-out duds, early results have completely reshuffled the board.
Here is a look at the five current betting favorites to take Super Bowl 61, along with a few dangerous teams right behind them.
Los Angeles Rams (+650)
The Rams tripped right out of the gate in Week 1, sitting at 1-1 with a modest +2 point differential. Yet oddsmakers refuse to budge from them at the top. Listed at +650, Sean McVay’s group opened the preseason at +550 after landing two-time Defensive Player of the Year Myles Garrett. The odds slipped just a bit after the split start, but both public money and sharp bettors are still all-in on LA playing a true home game when February rolls around.
Buffalo Bills (+750)
Buffalo is rolling. Now alone in second place at +750, the Bills have shortened substantially from their +1000 summer price. Full-time head coach Joe Brady has them off to a clean 2-0 start with a +15 point differential. D.J. Moore has paid off immediately by creating easy separation, while Bradley Chubb sets the tone for a violent front seven. Right now, this looks like the team to beat in the AFC.
Seattle Seahawks (+900)
Anyone waiting on a championship hangover from the Super Bowl LX champions will be waiting a while. Seattle has already moved from +1100 in the preseason down to +900. They share the top of the NFC West at 2-0 and boast an eye-popping +27 point differential. Losing offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak has not slowed them down at all. With rock-solid defensive discipline and a punishing ground game, they have every tool needed to run it back.
Baltimore Ravens (+1000)
Baltimore sits steady at +1000. They are 1-1 with a +11 point differential heading into Week 3. Jesse Minter is already stamping his identity all over this defense, and Lamar Jackson looks healthy, quick, and fully capable of pulling off magic out of structure. They let one game slip away, sure, but sportsbooks still treat Baltimore as the most complete group in the AFC North.
San Francisco 49ers (+1100)
Nobody saw this jump coming so quickly. The 49ers sat at +1800 before Week 1, and now they have crashed the top five at +1100. Kyle Shanahan’s crew has simply demolished everyone in front of them, racing to 2-0 with a league-best +42 point differential. They are clicking on both sides of the ball, leaping past Kansas City on the boards and cementing their spot as the fastest-rising team in football.
Other Contenders Worth Watching
- Kansas City Chiefs (+1200): A steady 2-0 start and a +24 differential helped trim KC from +1600 down to +1200, hovering just outside the top tier with Patrick Mahomes looking back at full strength.
- Philadelphia Eagles (+1600): Still undefeated at 2-0 (+6 differential), Philadelphia continues to pull reliable backing as a proven NFC heavyweight.
- Cincinnati Bengals (+1700): Sitting quietly at 2-0 with a +20 differential, Cincinnati offers plenty of meat on the bone at this price in the AFC picture.
- Minnesota Vikings (+2800): A flawless 2-0 start paired with a +23 differential turns Minnesota into a really fun long-shot sleeper.
- Los Angeles Chargers (+4000): A brutal 0-2 stumble and a -24 differential cratered the Chargers, who opened the year right in the mix at +1600.
