How to update your contact details on a betting account
Log in, open Profile or Account Settings, edit your email, phone number or address and confirm with the code or link the operator sends. If you cannot get codes on the old details, contact support and verify your identity. After a move to another state, check that your operator is licensed there.
You can update your contact details from the profile settings of your betting account, and most operators confirm each change with a code or a link. Keep your email, phone number and address current, because password resets, security alerts and identity checks all rely on them.
How to update your contact details
Log in and open Profile, Account or Settings, then edit the field you want to change. Each detail works slightly differently.
- Email address: enter the new one and confirm with the code or link the operator sends to the old or new address.
- Phone number: enter the new number and the confirmation code sent to it, then update any two-factor settings that used the old number.
- Home address: match the spelling on your government ID or a recent bill, and upload proof of the new address if the operator asks for it.
Afterwards, check that the new email receives the operator’s messages, including the spam folder, because that is where password resets and alerts arrive.
If you cannot get codes or the old email is gone
Some operators lock the email or phone fields for security, or require a code from the old contact before they allow a change. If that is not possible, contact support and verify your identity with your name, date of birth, address and sometimes a photo ID. Do not create a new account to switch details, because duplicate accounts are not allowed. If your SIM was swapped or your number was ported without your consent, treat it as a security risk: tell your carrier, change your passwords and contact the operator right away.
Moving to a new state
Online betting is licensed state by state. After a move, update your address, confirm that your operator holds a license in the new state and expect extra identity checks. You can only bet while you are physically inside a licensed state. An outdated address is also a common cause of failed identity or payment checks, so do not wait until a withdrawal is blocked to fix it.
