The Canadiens are still not the outright favorites, but that adjustment shows sportsbooks are taking their run much more seriously.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At <strong>+350<\/strong>, Montreal sits close to the top of the Stanley Cup futures board. The price is no longer a long-shot number, but it still leaves room for value if the Canadiens can build on their Game 1 performance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"h-why-the-canadiens-350-odds-matter\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Why the Canadiens\u2019 +350 Odds Matter<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The biggest reason for the odds move was how convincing the win looked. Carolina entered the series with an elite defensive profile and had not allowed more than two goals in any playoff game.
